Tips on Buying a New or Used Piano

The purchase of a new or used piano can be an overwhelming experience.  I receive calls from people who started the process with enthusiasm, only to find themselves confused and discouraged.  My best advice is to take your time and connect with a piano technician who can help you with your questions.

You need to ask yourself if the advice you're receiving is coming from someone who has a vested interest in selling you something.  If so, they should not be your only source of information.

Once you've narrowed down your search to a particular piano, then have it evaluated by a qualified piano technician. This will involve a fee, but it is money well spent.
